Do all “miracles” come from God? Many people including Christians have the wrong understanding that they do. The truth however is that there are many examples of Demonic “miracles” in the world today and even in the Bible. The truth is in the 21st century people have a very flawed idea of “miracles”. For instance there is the naturalist view that “miracles” don’t exist and have never existed.
The first thing I want to point out is that the supernatural does exist and “miracles” are real. There are just too many examples of eyewitnesses who have seen or even experienced “miracles”. Let me give you an example of what I mean: Edward Cayce and Arigo (the surgeon with a rusty knife) who is pictured above. Look them up if you don’t believe that they are true and watch videos on YouTube of at least Arigo performing surgeries with a regular pocketknife. (Warning: these can be graphic) The reason why I tell you about these two individuals performing these ““miracles”” is to show you two of the most documented cases where you cannot say “miracles” don’t exist.
Now if you do believe in “miracles” I want to get to my main topic. Which is the fact that many people who see ““miracles”” just assume those “miracles” come from God. Is this a good assumption? NO! This is actually the worst assumption that I can think of! We must look at the “miracles” and test them after all the Bible commands this in 1 Thessalonians 5:21 “but test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.”
Lets remember that in the Bible Moses performed “miracles”, Elijah performed “miracles” and Jesus performed “miracles” and so did the Apostles. Now with this being said there is another example in the Bible of people who performed “miracles”. For instance in Exodus 7:11-12: “Then Pharaoh summoned the wise men and the sorcerers, and they, the magicians of Egypt, also did the same by their secret arts. For each man cast down his staff, and they became serpents. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs.” Do you see the Bible shows us that people other than God’s followers have done “miracles”! Actually these wise men that Pharaoh summoned performed multiple “miracles”.
We receive even a better warning from passages in the New Testament that show us “miracles” can be performed by those who do not know God through Jesus! Matthew 7:22-23 gives a grave warning about this subject when it says: “On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.” This is what I believe to be the scariest passage in the Gospels. I say this for two reasons 1. These people truly think that they are doing these works in the name of Jesus! #2 is the fact that many are following these miracle workers but in reality they are following people who do not even know Jesus!
Let me give you one more passage of scripture that might scare me even more than Matthew 7 and that passage is 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 “The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
What I hope we understand is that demonic “miracles” are present in the world today, they were present in the time of Moses and they were present in the time of the Apostles! Demonic “miracles” are real and we need to be on guard when we see ““miracles”” because they could be from a different source than most people would attribute them too.
What many people ask is why would Satan do something good like perform a “miracle”? This is actually a very simple answer, the Bible is clear that Satan disguises himself as an angel of light! (2 Cor. 11:14) The other reason that he would perform a miracle is to spread false doctrine! After all you are not saved from sin by a “miracle” but you are saved from sin by believing in Jesus and the truth about Jesus. So if Satan can spread false truth about Jesus by preforming some good through miracle he will do it! Look at 1 Timothy 4:1, which says “Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons.”
This is the truth that I want you to know today that you must test doctrine and belief before believing anyone based on signs or wonders that they do! The point of Satan is to lie and his biggest lie is acting as if he is doing good when in all reality he is leading people into eternal damnation because of their willingness to follow false doctrines that go directly against Jesus!

Thank you for sharing this post. It is very informative. The Bible tells us to test the spirit, but many people are still focussing on the physical. There are many false doctrines, teachings, miracles and prophecies in the world. Unfortunately, many people are ignorantly following these demonic spirits.
The Church needs knowledge from God. I have reblogged your post. God bless you.

There are many false prophets, doctrines and teachings in the world but believe it or not there are also false miracles. The following is a reblogged from Joshua Cummins ministry.
